Hi there! I’m Hans. I’m Henrik. I’m Appel.
Haheap? Ha-what? [ha:hi:p]
I’m partly named after my grandfather and have the blessing of two first names that work better in Danish than in English. Even more, it’s so long that it needs to be shortened or truncated in order to find a suitable handle for social media.
So, Haheap is a truncated version of my name, containing the first two letters of the three parts of my name. How you pronounce it is up to you. Personally I prefer the ha-heap version.
Passion in anything I do
If you happen to find my LinkedIn profile, you’ll see a lot of seemingly unrelated jobs. My primary job is in Air Traffic Control services, but I also have a part-time job as an insurance advisor. Then I have my freelance web development business – and is a board member of the union at my primary job.
Then, when all of that is set and done, I sit back, relax and start dreaming of database relations and weird web projects. I own more domain names than t-shirts, but I use only a fraction of them.
This will be my dev journal
I’ve been building blogs for years and has developed complex database solutions for fun since the 1990’s. But for some reason, I’ve never written about my journey.
Today, that is about to change.
Welcome to haheap.com, where you can find my ramblings about full stack development, Laravel, Vue.js, WordPress, server management, css and all the other stuff I meet along the way.
Should have started this in 1998. Finally, welcome to my World!
